Acclaimed cabaret singer and musical theatre performer Michelle Nightingale channels the troubled heart of Bruce Springsteen’s work in this one-woman show which has had sell-out seasons at Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Hobart’s Festival of Voices.
Nightingale takes the emotive and compelling lyrics from some of The Boss’s iconic songs – ‘Hungry Heart’, ‘Human Touch’ and ‘Born to Run’ – and interweaves them with the true stories of Australian women forced to put their children up for adoption in the 60s and 70s.
