Melanie first shot to stardom with her unforgettable appearance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969 and she toured to Australia five times during the 70s. She was the first commercial artist to perform on the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage and her last 1977 Melbourne run extended from an initial 2 shows to a sold-out 12 show run at the Dallas Brooks Hall.
