Award-winning New York based cabaret performer Kim Smith conjures the glitter and doom of Weimar-era Germany, interspersed with original electro-pop tunes and revamped dance floor classics.
Mining his debut album, Nova, Smith gives his own songs a decadent 1920s treatment and performs them alongside his inventive mash-ups of everyone from Friedrich Hollaender, Kurt Weill and Mischa Spoliansky, to Madonna, The Supremes, Kylie Minogue and myriad others.
