Description |
Musical advisor for Peter Brook's Mahabharata, India's virtuoso violinist plays a concert of classics from the subcontinent. Dr Lakshminarayan Subramaniam's renderings of traditional Carnatac ragas and compositions of the three famous religious composers of Southern India have left audiences and critics enraptured. He will be accompanied on the mridangam (double-headed tuned drum) by K. Gopinath, one of India's leading percussionists. |
