Notes Born Cowes, Isle of Wight, died Nerang, Qld. During the War he worked as an air-raid warden in Portsmouth, and wrote a radio play 'Abandon Aircraft' broadcast in UK in 1944, to which 'Landing Emergency' might be connected. He wrote detective screen plays for film and TV in the UK and in 1948 moved to Australia, where he joined the Commonwealth Screen Unit ('Skippy' etc), and was a novelist.
