Title THE THEATRE
Abstract/Description On Tuesday evening the Tragedy of Jane Shore was repeated. Of this piece we may in the outset remark, that the performance of the ladies far surpasses that of the gentlemen; but of the latter, Messrs. Spencer, Gordon and Lane played their parts unusually well. It seems the fashion with the visitors of the Theatre, in commenting upon the acting of Mrs. Cameron, to institute comparisons between herself and Mrs. Taylor, and more, especially in reference to her playing in the character of Jane Shore.
