Abstract/Description |
The head is in two parts and the lower jaw is attached to an internal spring mechanism. The hair is moulded into a bun at the back and the facial features, hair and hands are painted. Dressed in a high necked floral dress of mustard, green and burgandy colours, stockings and cherry coloured velvet slippers with decorative beading. Multiple strings of pearls in grey, green and gold hang around the neck. Two short strings of pearl drops attached to proper left ear with a safety pin. Jointed waist, neck, arms and legs. Metal rod with screw thread at centre back; rods from elbows; and at the back of the head a rod with a handle and small finger lever attached to a wire. n/d. |
