Title |
Domestic Intelligence - Levey's Little Theatre |
Abstract/Description |
The Saloon of the Royal Hotel being all complete for theatrical exhibitions, the public were introduced by due advertisement to the " Theatre Royal" yesterday evening, to witness the performance of a favourite melo-drama, called " Black-eyed Susan," and a farce called " Monsieur Tonson." Both pieces went off much better than could be expected from a first essay, and the audience seemed perfectly satisfied, occasionally cheering the stage. The House was full, and Levy and his corps will, no doubt, feel much encouraged at these Christmas first-fruits. |
