Kiwis capture crowd |
| Abstract/Description |
"Benghazi" was the name of the revue so successfully presented by the Kiwis in the Crystal Theatre on Saturday night. Of the plot it is unnecessary to speak, for the thread of it was lost in the early hilarity and no one bothered about it afterwards. Anyway it was merely a series of signals for the introduction of new forms of entertainment and those put before a full theatre were many and clever, in particular cases a sign of genius in provoking laughter. Feminine charm was not lacking in the cast, for three men masqueraded well as women at the appropriate times. |
