Ever since she pulled on her ABBA socks at age 8, Queenie van de Zandt knew she was destined to become a performer (or hairdresser). Her mind, and face, made up, she plunged into the heady world of eisteddfods, speech and drama exams and school musicals. At 18, Queenie finally got her big break, at a cabaret venue in the theatrical epicentre of...Queanbeyan, NSW.
