| Description |
The scry of Paterson's parents, Helene and Gordon, who migrated from South Africa to New Zealand in 1994, settling in Hamilton when Paterson was 6 years old. When they finally get to NZ, they discover it's hard work to find 'home'. The play is a dialogue between Helene and Gordon, played by one actor. |

Paterson had previously performed the platy at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe, where it was awarded 'Best Monologue at the Fringe'. She has also played it at the creative Waikato Space, The Meteor Theatre, The Basement Theatre and the Hawke's Bay Arts Festival.
