Description |
The touchy topic of Money and Friends is money and friends, and how badly they mix when the friend indeed is a friend in need. The play is set in the present, at a trendy Sydney weekend hideaway called Crystal Inlet, where - as Robyn Nevin's character so delightfully points out - people can go when they get sick of their veiw of Sydney Harbour...the catalyst for the momentous moments of truth, is the normally affable confessor Peter - he has lost his wife to cancer a year earlier and his financial position has gone down the toilet...he is facing bankruptcy unless he can find $40,000 |
