| Description |
Award winning playwright John Broughton specially wrote this play for acclaimed New Zealand actor, Jim Moriarty. This powerful play was premiered by Downstage Theatre in 1991 and was followed by a very successful season for New Zealand Writers' Week in Dunedin. Michael James Manaia was invited to perform at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival in 1991 before it had even had its first performance in New Zealand.
The combination of Colin McColl's gripping direction, Tony Rabbit's set and lighting design together with the music of Masapa make this production an important milestone in New Zealand |
