The sixth festival taking place at Worthy Farm.
Following the introduction of the Local Government Act, local authorities had the power to regulate outdoor events. A public entertainment licence was obtained from Mendip Distrcit Council setting the capacity limits and conditions for on-site services.
Radio Avalon, the local on-site festival radio station launched in 1983. |
