Having met in Senegal in 2005, Max and Sura have been playing concerts together ever since. In their own right they both lead busy performance careers engaged in a range of projects and groups which have taken them to stages at major festivals in the UK including Womad, Glastonbury, and venues from London's Southbank Centre to a far afield as the Sydney Opera House.
