Description In 1868 at Essendon, clans from Ballarat and Bendigo, presumably Watha Wurrung and Jaara Jaara people of the Dja Dja Wurrung community, staged a two-hour corroboree for a large audience.40 Aboriginal people also sold and traded possum skin cloaks, fish and game.
