Title |
Recollections of the Theatre Royal |
Abstract/Description |
A whole history might be written about this theatre. Its varied experiences, its fluctuating fortunes, and its many managers, would afford materials for many chapters. Hardly any theatre in the world has passed through such a series of experiences. Now on the flood tide of prosperity, and presently deserted and its managers ruined, it has been the very sport of fortune. |
