Abstract/Description |
Lynch was born in Sydney, N.S.W. 1951. He speaks about his first position at the Australia Council; having worked in a variety of positions including as a casting agent, theatre manager at the Nimrod Theatre and General Manager of the Sydney Theatre Company before returning to the Australia Council in 1994 as General Manager; taking up the position of General Manager of the Sydney Opera House in 1998. Through his various positions, Lynch offers an insight into the era of growth and development that has characterised the arts in Australia over the last 30 years.
