He then talks about his early life in Wagga Wagga and his Greek family background; his schooling and love of sport; the decision to join the theatre as his career; life in Wagga for migrants during 1950s, education, assimilation, racism; Aboriginals in Wagga and their treatment; the influence of touring entertainment and radio on him; studying for an Arts degree, University of N.S.W; NIDA and Drama Department. |
