Description |
"Cafe Fledermaus illustrates the fracture and decay of Viennese society at the turn of the century. In 1907, in the foyer of the once famous Cabaret Fledermaus, a young man stops a cabaret singer on her way to work. What ensues in their encounter is a battle of wills, a dynamic embodiment of the feeling of the period, and a reminder that we are rapidly approaching our own fin-de-siecle." |
