Description |
A jarring story of the bitter dynamics of a fractured family. It is a play about loss and desire. Max, the aging patriarch, wages a spiteful and petty war on his brother Sam and his sons, the oily pimp Lenny and the sluggish, brutish boxer Joey. In the dark of night the successful third brother Teddy arrives with his wife Ruth. It is almost as if the men have conjured up Ruth by some dark family spell ? she is brought to life by the power of the men's desires. |
