"One of Shakespeare's latter plays, The Winter's Tale is a romantic comedy that is also full of tragedy and beauty and climaxes in a family reunion. It tells the story of a family being torn apart yet finding peace and reunion in its final act. The Winter's Tale also involves one of Shakespeare's great heroines, Hermione and one of the most challenging roles for an actor, the jealous Leontes."
