Description |
'Simple Symphony' was first produced by Walter Gore for the Ballet Rambert at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, in November, 1944. It has proved very popular and has constantly been performed by the Ballet Rambert in Europe, on their Australian tour, and on their recent visit to American. It is set to Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony, and is slightly coloured with the nautical.
This programme also includes the ballets Return of Kristen, Symphonic Variations, Divertissements and Cinderella. |
