Description Cissie, Jean, Reggie and Wilf are in a home for retired opera singers. Resurrecting their leading roles in Verdi's "Rigoletto" for a concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday, Jean is horrified to find herself washed up in a retirement home, so she refuses to sing. The uptight tenor, Reggie, is rattled by the reappearance of Jean, to whom he was once briefly married. Cissie is oblivious as her grip on reality slips and her mind begins to wander. While Wilf, the lusty baritone, continues to overindulge with rambunctious fervour.
