Description |
Victory is an epic set in the chaos of the English Restoration. Bradshaw sets out on a journey to claim her husband's mutilated corpse. She fights her way through a macabre landscape of rampaging soldiers and hustling charlatans. She discovers that the suppurating court of Charles II is as dangerous as any battlefield.
Bradshaw's quest to put together what has been torn apart, is biblical, heroic, foolhardy and ultimately moving.
