Description |
The Piatnitsky, formed in 1911, was named after its founder, Mitrofan Piatnitsky, and is one of the largest folk ensembles in the Soviet Union. The Piatnitsky does not rely on only one facet of Russian folk art, they are a magnificent dance company and a choir and they carry their own national folk orchestra. |
