Description |
The Hyacinth Project makes complex and interlinked references to T.S. Eliot's poem The Waste Land...to the troubled relationship between Eliot and his wife Vivien, and to the mythical story of the god Apollo and the beautiful boy Hyacinthus whom he loves but accidentally kills with a discus. The play moves between these stories of obsessive love, love misunderstood, love gone wrong and neglected. |
