Description |
Produced by SA's exciting new company Windmill, Riverland juxtaposes the story of the 1956 Great Flooding and consequent damming of the River Murray with the lives of a contemporary urban Indigenous family. Drawing on stories from the Riverland region and working with well known Riverland based artist Ian Abdulla the production embraces a re - creation of spirit and a family's place in the land. The production features an outstanding cast of Indigenous performers plus local children from the Kaurna Plains School. |
