Description |
"Neil Armfield reworks one of his most successful productions, his 1990 The Tempest, to launch his new Belvoir based Company B. While the overall design concept remains the same the results are otherwise very different. The production comes across as a detailed one. There is no doubt that Armfield continues to grow as a director, his bold shaping of this new version of the Tempest shows this to be true. To all those with an interest in Shakespeare, or indeed the theatre in general, here we have a very remarkable production launching a most exciting epoch of Australian theatre." |
