Description With an umbrella title like Future Tense it is not surprising the two short plays
are concerned with time...in Last of The Earl Gray, Mum Jane and Dad Robert eke out a cheerily barren life in their post-holocaust unit. Refusing the demands to move out...they chatter and fantasise...in A Surprise for Miffy, two inmates of the Jacinta Rainbow Retreat, and a less than stable caretaker, are waiting for Miffy - an "eternal" person for whom they are throwing a party.
