Description |
Arthur Miller's play written in 1947, "All My Sons", won the best New York play of that year and is "enthralling from beginning to end".
It is about guilt and family survival in post-war small-town America. The central figure is Joe Keller - an affluent mid-western manufacturer whose company, during the war, sold to the US Government defective aircraft components. Planes crashed, but the cloud hovers. Kate, his wife, devotes her time to waiting for her older son, Larry to come home |
